I’m quite annoyed to see that a number of coupons are only available in newsstand copies. I just renewed my subscription largely because of the coupons available in All You — this was a big incentive in subscribing — and now come to find that a number of the coupons I can use aren’t even going to be included? How is this fair to loyal readers who subscribe to make sure they don’t miss any issues? Please reconsider this in the future — I’d rather see coupons available ONLY to subscribers to reward people for subscribing.

I agree

Patricia says:
April 13th, 2009 at 3:21 pm

I agree with “Rachel” if you list the coupons they should be in the magazine. Why aren’t they in the subscribers issue?

Erin Wilks says:

I am super frustrated, and considering canceling my subscription. Why can’t we just have a code to print these “special offers” that are in the insert that never makes it to my door on the all you website. There would be less publishing cost, and less frustrations too!

Mary says:
April 13th, 2009 at 10:14 pm

RIDICULOUS!!!! All You should be rewarding the subscribers with special coupons, not the other way around. Boo…

Sheila says:
April 14th, 2009 at 2:08 pm

I was considering renewing my subscription but after seeing that we are penalized for subscribing I will not renew. This also means that I probably will not be buying All You on the stand as I rarely can even remember to check it out at the store!!

Dina says:
April 14th, 2009 at 6:28 pm

I subscribed for two years largely because I loved the coupons in every issue – but I never thought subscribers would be discriminated against by limiting the coupons available in their magazine compared to those available in the “newsstand edition”. Because of these unfair tactics, I would NOT buy it in the store and consider canceling my subscription!

Becky says:
April 14th, 2009 at 6:40 pm

Unfortunatly, for me to be able to even get the all you magazine I have to subscribe to it. They are never available at the wal mart near my house. There are people that buy as many as they can find to get these coupons, leaving none for anyone else. I was told by customer service that they are the same magazines in the store that is mailed to homes, but I guess the small print says differently.

Laura says:
April 15th, 2009 at 12:54 am

I am glad to see other subscribers are mad too. The coupons that are missing are some of my favorites. Ketchup coupons don’t come along everyday. I also can seldom find the magazine in the walmart near me. Half the time the workers have no idea what I am talking about because they never see it on their stands.

Christina says:
April 15th, 2009 at 1:04 am

I was planning on subscribing after I received my 2 trial issues. However, now that I see I will get fewer coupons by subscribing, I think I’m going to pass.

Valerie says:
April 15th, 2009 at 1:05 am

I too am angry to see that I as a current subscription holder am not receiving all the coupons that are available in your magazine. I subscribed so I would never miss an issue of your magazine and am definitely thinking about cancelling my subscription and will definitely be spreading the word about this on many coupon sites that I am active on. I would think that you would reward the loyal customers as opposed to those who just occasionally pick up your magazine.

Emily says:
April 15th, 2009 at 1:20 am

Way to punish the loyal subscribers.

Amy says:
April 15th, 2009 at 1:29 am

This is so not right! We should be getting the same coupons!!

Jan says:
April 15th, 2009 at 1:31 am

Because I often forgot to buy an issue of ALL YOU in the store, I subscribed. I had no idea how many coupons I’d miss out on as a result. That $9.00 worth of coupons I’m not getting this month is an amount significant enough to make me reconsider renewing my subscription.

Julie says:
April 15th, 2009 at 1:57 am

Wow! That is just ridiculous! I JUST subscribed for two years mainly FOR THE COUPONS! What a disappointment. Maybe I will have to cancel the subscription. That is not a very good way to entice subscribers.

Tammi says:
April 15th, 2009 at 2:16 am

I too am very disappointed as my subscription copy did not have all the coupons that the “store” copy contained.
I have been a loyal All You subscriber for over 2 years but I am now reconsidering whether it is worth my money to continue.

Amy says:
April 15th, 2009 at 2:26 am

I have to agree with everyone, I am very upset that different coupons are available in the news stand rack than what I get in the mail. I was going to renew mine as well, but if this is how it is going to be, I will have to reconsider. I think you need to reevaluate your issues, your most loyal readers are the ones who subscribe, why should we miss out on these coupons as well?

SJU says:
April 15th, 2009 at 2:41 am

I am also disappointed that the coupons are different in my issue as a loyal subscriber who has even gifted subscriptions to people who would normally not take the time to buy the magazine that those of people just picking one up randomly here and there. I think we should get the extra savings and discounts. Like many commented before me, I will likely not be renewing my subscription when it comes time.

Andrea says:
April 15th, 2009 at 3:24 am

I don’t think its right at all that us subscribers are getting the raw end of the deal. My renewal came in the mail today and I am thinking I might not renew.

Stephanie says:
April 15th, 2009 at 3:35 am

I also am very dissappointed in All You. I recently subscribed but I will be canceling. It’s much more worth it to me to pick up the issue in the store if all the coupons will not be available and then I can pick and choose which ones to buy.

Liz says:
April 15th, 2009 at 5:59 am

I, too, will join with others. I have never, NEVER heard of a publication that gives extra incentive to non-subscribers! What is the logic behind that? I ordered a 2 year subscription recently, so I wouldn’t have to miss out on some of the issues when I couldn’t find them in the magazine section at Walmart. I didn’t realize that I was getting less of a magazine by doing this.

Jennifer Kerns says:
April 15th, 2009 at 4:14 pm

This sucks i just ordered a 2 year not any more i am going to cancel it ASAP…..

Amy says:
April 15th, 2009 at 7:58 pm

How horrible, I am so glad I don’t subscribe or I would be calling immediately to cancel.

Laura Hiller says:
April 16th, 2009 at 1:30 pm

I thought I was the only one not receiving all the coupons. The past two month issues I noticed coupons were listed with valuable savings but the coupons were not there and last month I bought that issue at Wal-mart for my daughter and there was more to that issue.
What’s up with that!!

Christine says:
April 16th, 2009 at 1:51 pm

I see I am not alone is my disappointment & disgust with All You magazine. I also subscribed so I would be sure to never miss an issue – for the coupons.
As stated by a previous poster, I have never, NEVER heard of a publication that gives extra incentive to non-subscribers!
I have canceled my subscription.

Erin says:
April 16th, 2009 at 6:13 pm

It is sad to hear that such a useful publication is treating its subscribers so poorly. I received a free subsciption this year, but will not renew if this policy is not changed.

Burgandy says:
April 19th, 2009 at 2:03 am

Like everyone else I can’t believe that as a LOYAL subscriber I’m being punished. Guess I will be cancelling soon.

Cari says:
April 19th, 2009 at 10:39 am

I’m very glad I was made aware of the fact that the subscription copies do not get all the coupons that are in the version sold at wal-mart. I was about to subscribe since I hate going to wal-mart. I think I will pass and just get the coupons I need from friends who get the magazine. seems like a rip-off to me…. wish I didnt have to drag myself into blue china to get the good coupons

Christy says:
April 19th, 2009 at 2:01 pm

Generally, I think most people buy a magazine from the newsstand for the first time, and if they like it enough, they order a subscription. Well, I liked All You because of all the great coupons, and I subscribed so I would never miss any of them. Now I completely regret that decision. This feels like a bait-and-switch tactic to me.

Holly says:
April 19th, 2009 at 3:41 pm

I have been a loyal subscriber for a few years now and just realized that my loyalty is rewarded with fewer coupons. I have to go to the store now to get the magazine in its entirety. I will be cancelling my subscription and suggest that no one else subscribe until the subscription and store issue are the same *or* the subscribers are rewarded with more coupons or features.

Sharon says:
April 20th, 2009 at 1:05 am

I have been subscribing to magazines for years and this is the first magazine to punish subscribers. The benefits of being a subscriber are usually to get the magazine before it’s available on the newsstand which rarely if ever happens with All You in fact, I think the May copy was available at the store several days before I got my copy and certainly not to get less coupons than the people buying it at the store. My subscription is almost up for renewal and if this continues I will not be renewing it.

Carissa says:
April 20th, 2009 at 1:56 pm

I too just subscribed for 2 years and am very SAD to learn that my subscription does not contain the same amount of coupons as the newsstand copy. The coupons were one of the main reasons I decided to take out of subscription. I would like to see the All You reconsider and actually reward their subscribers with more coupons rather than less.

Karen says:
April 20th, 2009 at 2:23 pm

I agree with all the above comments. What a shame that the loyal subscribers get less value than the occassional readers. I too just recently renewed my subscription for (2) more years.

Joanna says:
April 20th, 2009 at 6:30 pm

I bought the All you magaizine that just came out April 17th with over $76.00 worth of coupons at Wal Mart. One coupon that I WOULD for sure USE, isn’t in the magazine at all. It says that it’s on page 169 but that only has an ad on it for a Jitterbug phone not a coupon for $7.00 off Chlorinating tabs Plus as stated in the front of the magazine! Oh, I see something interesting! It’s ONLY AVAILABLE in certain STATES? What’s up with that? Don’t they think we use their products in all states??? This is as bad as not having as many coupons when you subscribe! I was thinking of subscribing but now reconsidering and just buying at WalMart.

Kara says:
April 23rd, 2009 at 1:13 pm

My subscription is up for renewal, but if I’m not getting the same coupons I won’t be renewing. I LOVE the magazine, but I don’t want to buy it off the rack either. I guess I’m going to have to give up the magazine all together. :(

Laura Hesselberg says:
April 25th, 2009 at 12:08 am

Hmmm…. with all of these unhappy customers, I am surprised no one from the magazine has come on to make a comment. My mother in law just gave me her old issue and I thought I might subscribe, not now.

Cindy says:
April 27th, 2009 at 1:10 am

I agree with everyone who has posted here! I am two months into my year long subscription. I plan to see about getting my money back. I subscribed in order to support AllYou magazine, and the thanks I get is fewer coupons?? I don’t think so. I’ll go back to picking it up in WalMart. AllYou is a great magazine and I totally enjoy it, but I’m disappointed in the way they choose to treat their loyal customers!

Vicky says:
April 29th, 2009 at 6:00 pm

Just two weeks ago I purchased a two year subscription because I heard the magazine was a good read AND had awesome coupons. Now I find out that you penalize subscribers by leaving out the best coupons. That is absurd!
I and many other people I know do not shop at Wal-Mart for a variety of reasons and despite hearing good reviews for this magazine I have never bought it because I don’t shop there. You are alienating all the Non-Wal Mart shoppers from your market by offering an inferior product to them. This doesn’t seem like a good marketing strategy to me. I highly recommend that you change this and make the newsstand and subscriber issues the same or you will loose many paying customers.

amanda says:
April 30th, 2009 at 1:09 am

I was considering a subscription, but this whole fiasco helped me make my decision NOT to subscribe.

It reminds me of the time I didn’t receive my insert coupons in the Kansas City Star delivered to my driveway every day for years. I called customer service only to be told it was because they didn’t account for all the issues they would be giving away at the Chief’s game that day. I’m sure they all ended up in the trash or the parking lot.

So, for now, I’ll pick up a copy on the RARE occasion I go to Wal-Mart and happen to find a copy of All You.

Tracey says:
April 30th, 2009 at 3:56 am

I used to love this mag and now since this whole coupon thing, it has me wanting to cancel my subscription!! And to boot, you raised the price from $1.79 to $2.50!!!! What’s up with that?? Let’s see, almost every other magazine give the subscriptions the extra’s but I should have guessed that anything connected to Walmart would be backwards.

All You, change your policy please or your going to lose alot of customers!!

rose says:

i am thinking of canceling my subscription.. and only buying the ones that have coupons i want… i agree with all the posters above… c’mon now you are proving my son right.. he works in a union state and will not shop at the “evil empire” and is telling all family members to not shop there also.. well this is another thing to add to his cause… just plain greed… i bet you loose a lot of purchases!

jessica jackson says:

I agree a total ripoff why wouldn’t you just put them in all of them what makes it so difficult.

Jacqueline says:

This is why I canceled after my signing up for my free issues. Way to go, All You, on pissing off your loyalists!

Debbie says:

This is NOT good customer service!
I have a two year sub and recently purchased another so I could get 2 copies of the coupons each month. I am very disappointed with WalMart about this slight. You need to make ameands to your loyal subscribers. AND fire the brainiac behind rewarding the ocassional newsstand purchaser instead of your subscribers!
Booooo

Marnie says:
May 7th, 2009 at 4:55 pm

This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. Loyal customers are getting the short end here. I don’t think I will be renewing when my subscription runs out. Subscribers should get more savings, not less.

Nikki says:
May 9th, 2009 at 1:34 pm

I am with you guys! This is truly BOGUS that there are different coupons between the newsstand & subscriber editions. If anything, the subscribers should get the good coupons! I will NEVER step foot in Walmart & I shouldn’t have to pay for another magazine when I SUBSCRIBE!! I will NOT be renewing my subscription.

Tara says:
May 15th, 2009 at 1:00 pm

I hope All You will think seriously about how they treat their best customers-their subscribers. Your magazine is widely known for having good coupons and that is the reason many of us subscribe. If you only put the best coupons in the newsstand issues, you are doing a disservice to your loyal customers and give us every reason not to continue the subscription. Most of your Walmart shoppers are going to have a hard time finding the magazine, I know in my Super Walmart I have to go digging for it. Half of them won’t even know to look for it. Why give them the good coupons?

This is ridiculous that subscribers don’t get all the coupons in the newsstand version. If anything, we should get more as you have our money up front!

another ex-subscriber says:

It amazes me that there are 50 comments here and there is no reply from All You magazine themselves.
They could have easily make good on this by sending the subscribers the missing coupons.

Natalie Davison says:

I have subscribed for a few yars now to ALL YOU, and only for the coupons, I never read it. I did not get the coupon booklet either, I emailed them and requested it since my Delivered service did not come with it. ALL I can say is, if you take out the only thing I get your mag for, I wont be renewing my subscription next year when it runs out.. just hand over the coupons and we all remain happy LOL.. I emailed ALL YOU and requested the coupons that I didnt get, I heard they are giving a months free subscription to those that didnt get the coupons, hopefully this is true and I get a month for free or my coupons will turn up.. lets see what happens!

Wendy Mercado says:
May 26th, 2009 at 10:58 pm

Another subscriber extremely unhappy about not getting all the coupons. I read what would be included in the June issue and when mine arrived, I just couldn’t believe that I wasn’t receiving all of them. I like the magazine, but will cancel if this situation is not remedied. I Want My Coupons!!!

Lisa Magee says:
June 9th, 2009 at 1:15 pm

I just cancelled my subscription and am receiving a refund for the remaining balance. Why should I be loyal to them, if they are going to treat the non-subscribers the best? This way, I will only buy the months where I want the coupons. Actually the $9 in additional coupons more than pays for the differential in the newsstand price and in the subscription price.

I signed up for a free trial issue of All You, and I just scanned it for coupons that were supposed to be in this month’s issue. A google search led me here, and I see now why I’m missing those coupons. No thanks, All You. If I buy your magazine it will be off the news stand, and that will be occasionally. I can’t believe a magazine would penalize subscribers.
