Want to find great shopping savings but just don’t have the hours needed to become a coupon queen? A new website, www.shoppingnanny.com, does the work for you by combining manufacturers coupons and weekly specials at your favorite stores. You simply create a list of items you normally buy and the site shows you current coupons and store specials in your area for those items. Then you just print the coupons and your list and bring them to the store. Or, if your store accepts digital coupons, you can load them right on to your loyalty card. There’s also a forum where you can share tips, deals and stories with other people trying to save. The site is free to look around and print one coupon at a time. If you like it and want full access, it’s $5.95 a month (there’s a two week free trial, but don’t forget to cancel your credit card before the end of it!) or $60 per year. Through the July, All You readers can use promo code “ALY2010” for an extra month free on the annual membership only.
If it sounds like a lot to pay, the site promises that if you don’t save at least $40 a month, (assuming you’re spending $100 on groceries), you’ll get the next month free.
The site’s going national tonight and will be making improvements over the next three weeks, so I’ll be trying it out. Happy shopping!
