Over the last few weeks I’ve shared with you tips on how to get magazines, music, food, even medicines, all for free. Free stuff is great, but free money is better, so here are three ways to put some in your pocket.
1) Do your online shopping through a cash-back site like Ebates or Cashbaq. Both sites are free and give you a $5 bonus just for signing up. You get anywhere from 2% to 24% back just for shopping online at your favorite stores like GAP, Gymboree and Sephora.
2) Sign up for Upromise and start using Upromise eCoupons. Select the coupons you want, such as for Huggies diapers or Snyder’s pretzels, and the coupons are added to your store savings cards. When you check out at the grocery store, the coupon value will go straight to your Upromise college savings account.
3) Trade in old electronics for cash or gift cards. Try Gazelle to get cash for dated gadgets or Trade-In at Best Buy to score Best Buy gift cards in return for the old digital camera, laptop or cell phone taking up space in your closet.
Do you have any other great tips for scoring freebies? I’d love to hear them. Feel free to comment or write me directly through CouponCravings.com.

I always hate anything free. It makes people lazy. We should try to develop and enhance our potentials so that we can earn through our effort. we should not be exploited in any way, side by side, we should not exploit any body, what is expected is that, just justice not mercy.
So, leave what is free.
Kalagazi
I have to disagree with Kalagazi first 3 sentences. The other sentences sound displaced, chopped up, copied and pasted phrases from unrelated subjects. Say what!? People who obtain free or nearly free items, I feel, are not lazy at all. On the contrary, they’re researchers, thinkers, organizers, hunters, and opportunity seeking people. If I can save money and get a bunch of free dog food plus give some away to the local shelter, who is being exploited? Perhaps you should familarize yourself with the following phrase, “Work smarter not harder!”
Nothing here is really free. The author rrccomends using coupons to save money and trade in old, unused items in return for cash or store credit. That’s not being lazy, that’s being smart and resourceful. If you can trade in something you no longer use and actually get paid for it in the meantime, then why not?
Thank you for the wonderful information. I agree that it is NOT exploiting anyone by getting things free. It takes a lot of time to research to find out if it is a scam or a way to get you to sign up for other offers which will cost much more.. it takes time to clip coupons and fill out forms. Where does Kalagazi get his/her information?? Has he/she ever tried getting free stuff?? To me, it’s like my birthday getting freebies in the mail! As the old “Laugh In” (maybe before your time) joke goes, “Try it you’ll like it!” My 2 cents worth, and apparently, 2 cents can be worth alot!
hi there. that’s great information you got there. thank you
