I write the pets page here at ALL YOU and I have two cute cats (their names are Stella and Shimi), so a lot of my time is spent thinking about furry friends. That’s why I’ll now be posting pet-related money-and-time-saving tips on this blog a few times a week!

My kitties love to play, so for my first post, I wanted to share a few of their favorite toys with you. Maybe your feline will enjoy these too!

-Kitty Flicks are awesome. They are little colorful sticks that you can launch in the air (they go up to 15 feet high!). The kitties don’t know where they will land so they go chasing after them (which exercises their bodies and their minds). They come in a set of 10 for $6.

-Also from catclaws.com, this bird toy keeps Stella and Shimi occupied for hours—they bite, lick and bat at this catnip-filled birdie. They especially love rubbing their heads against the soft feather tail. The toy comes in red or blue and it’s only $4.

-Lastly, they like good old-fashioned string. They love to chase after it as my husband or I drag it along the floor. (Warning: If you try this at home, be sure to put the string away and out of reach after playtime—if cats ingest it, it can make them sick.)
