Give to charity for free
On my “to do” list every day: donate to charity. And every day, I do just that—without spending a cent, and in less than a few seconds. Sounds too good to be true, right? Here’s my secret: The Hunger Site. All I have to do is click the big yellow button that says “Click Here to Give.” With each click, two nonprofit organizations Mercy Corps and Feeding America, donate food to food banks nationwide.
There’s no catch. The site’s sponsors buy ads that appear on the site for a specific period of time. The number of clicks that occur during that time are billed over to the sponsor, who then pays for the charitable donation — so you don’t have to. You can click once daily.
While you’re there, check out its sister sites, too. Just by clicking for free, you can give:
-free mammograms through The Breast Cancer Site
-free child healthcare through The Child Health Site
-free books through The Literacy Site
-protection for endangered habitats at The Rainforest Site
-free food and care to animals at The Animal Rescue Site
Sign up for daily e-reminders at each one!
Can giving back possibly get any easier?
