Farecast uses a formula based on the history of flight pricing to forecast whether a flight will go up or down in price, which lets you know whether you should book a flight now or hold off for a discount. Of course, it’s a forecast, not a promise, so it’s a bit of a gamble.

Last time I travel on a cruise is was so great. I think there is a significant amount of cruise planning that can be done either at your desk at work or on your home computer. But cruises do require detailed advance planning.
